This resonates a lot. Also INFJ-A, also affected by too much/not enough extremes…still learning about the parts of giftedness that I never knew anything about that were more profound than being “smarter.” But I came of age in a time where it was a fad to find the kids who were gifted, but there was no sense of the ways that it overlapped with other neurodivergence: ADHD and autism.
Thank you very much for your comment, Rafia. Wonderful to hear from you. That's a great insight into INFJ-A and experiencing the extremes of too much/not enough. I'm an INFJ-T and 'turbulence' has definitely been a theme. Many of my friends and colleagues had children go through that fad and it seemed like every second child was suddenly gifted. Fortunately there's been much more awareness of ADHD and autism since that time and how they intersect with giftedness.
So glad you have stopped running and are coming into your own! I think many people can resonate with your experience.
Thank you very much, Gail. Greatly appreciate your comment🌟🙏
